Bikes 4 Africa
Re~Cycle in Essex ships out bikes regularly to Africa where they are refurbished in the training workshops and passed on to health projects for doctors, nurses and midwives to reach otherwise inaccessible villages. Recent destinations are Uganda, Lesotho, Sierra Leone, Ghana, South Africa and Cameroon.

Additionally children's bikes get sent to an organisation in Kandahar, Afganistan and more recently to Roma communities in Romania.
