About Us
Here at Recyke Y'Bike we're a mixed bunch - with volunteers of all ages, across all walks of life, and with interests of every kind and six part-time members of staff. But there's two passions we all share....recycling and BIKES!!!
We're a Community Social Enterprise situated above the Ouseburn Valley in Byker, Newcastle Upon Tyne. We're a company limited by guarantee (Company no. 5839547) and a charity (Charity no. 1124639) Formally set up in June 2006 we moved into the Ouseburn Viaduct arch No 2 in Hannington Street in Sept 2006 which we've developed into a workshop. Arch No1 was taken over in 2007 and is used as a bicycle store and as a multi-purpose space such as vintage bike workshop.
